RB Brandon "Zoom" Saine (official thread)

I think I saw a DDNews article this morning that said he hurt himself "during" the WA game, and then reinjured it Tuesday in practice. According to his Mother, quoted in the article, the medical staff told her 3-4 weeks. Already injuries are beginning rear their ugly head, and we can only hope that the team's depth negates the impact of that trend.
I believe we have that depth, but let's hope for no more injuries to key personnel.

Go Bucks!

At the end of the day, it's good that they caught this injury, whatever it was. My hope is that he'll be back THIS year, but not after he's 100%. Injuries like this are worrisome...because you never know, as someone else said, how "recurring" they can be.

Brandon Saine, was, and will be a force on this team...let's just make sure he's healthy first...

Exactly, no need to rush him back. Beanie is our starter anyway and Mo Wells can make some plays as a back up. For Brandon's sake, I'd rather him take his time, get healthy and come back when at 100%. As someone with f-ed up knees, those puppies are important to get perfectly healthy.

Saine's running reminds me of "Clyde the Glide" Thomas, (I think), an outstanding RB with the Dallas Cowboys back in the '70s; didn't stick around too long because of personal issues, but he had deceptive speed and the smoothest stride in nfl at the time. Great to watch D's misjudge angles on Saine, and we really haven't seen anything yet.

Well that doesn't sound good at all. get well soon Brandon.
Btw i hope all your nurses are young and hot and are football player groupies.

:oh:

Reading that it doesn't sound well, yesterday they were saying it was only a week or two but that read gives the feeling it could be much longer. I sure hope not, that kid is so much fun to watch and I find myself holding my breath everytime he gets the ball.

:io:
