Looked to me like he got hurt being bent back on the play he fumbled after he was down?

OSU football: Saine to start Saturday, Tressel says
Thursday, October 29, 2009
Brandon Saine will start at running back for Ohio State against New Mexico State on Saturday, but it appears that left guard Justin Boren will miss the game, coach Jim Tressel said today.
Boren is suffering from an unspecified foot injury. His place in the lineup will be taken by Andrew Moses.
Saine left last week's victory over Minnesota with a mild concussion. He practiced at full speed yesterday and will play against New Mexico State, Tressel said.

Brandon Saine still is the fastest high-schooler ever to blaze a 100-meter trail in Ohio, his10.38-second dash in the spring of 2006 standing up to all comers since. But the Piqua nativejumped the track soon after heading to Ohio State as a running back in the fall of 2007. Thisseason, because of his own growing maturity and the unfortunate high-ankle sprain suffered byDaniel Herron, Saine has become the running back of note for the Buckeyes, though the mildconcussion he suffered in last week's win over Minnesota was a setback. The soft-spoken Sainerecently talked about his world-class speed and some other things:
Q: You're fast, but when Usain Bolt lowered the 100-meter world record to 9.58 seconds this year, almost a second quicker than your fastest time, what were your thoughts?
A: Honestly, I don't even know how you get to that time. I didn't even know there were that many morelevels. That's just insane.
Q: What stands out to you about Bolt's style?
A: When you watch him, it just seems like he keeps getting faster and faster. It's crazy. You wouldthink that people get up to a top speed and that's it, but not for him. He looks like he couldalways go faster.
Q: As fast as you are, what told you there was a limit as to how fast you could be?
A: As I got older, I felt I would mature and naturally get faster, but I did feel like there wassomewhat of a limit. I never felt like I was going to run in the 9s (9-second times).
Q: Why did you turn to football?
A: What I've always liked about it is the team aspect. In track, even when you feel like you're goingto win, that you have it in the bag, you're still nervous because there's no one to lean on. You'reby yourself out there. In football, you've got 10 other guys with you.
Q: Teammates Chimdi Chekwa and Lamaar Thomas tried to talk you into running on the OSU 4x100 relaythis spring. Why did you decline?
A: I wanted to focus on football. It had been awhile since I ran track, and football is my lovenow.
