A.P. ran an unofficial 4.44 40 on his first attempt...the other A.P. (Peterson) ran a 4.38 & Walker (for ND) ran a 4.57 for comparison. Good first run for Antonio.

Only 0.04 slower than the clear-cut #1 RB in the draft...not too shabby. Dare we say he may be smelling the first round aroma?

obviously, butch, eric, the rest of the coaches, and pitt saw this coming, and a lot of lists are going to be changing, pitt had good production, 0 injury concerns, no fumble issues, and now we know very solid size, and elite rb speed, guys like that usually don't see the second round

What's awesome is that AP gets to run again on OSU's fast track. And that 4.3 40 is going to make it tough for teams to turn him down in the first round. :)

FFLivewire has Pittman at 4.42 - 3rd fastest of the backs running thus far. If he aces the skill drills and shows good hands this will have helped his draft stock - a lot.
Gary Russell the ex-Gopher RB ran 4.80 (yikes - and not in a good way).
FL-RB DeShawn Wynn ran a 4.45, and reportedly CA-RB Marshawn Lynch ran a poorer than expected time (per Footballs's Future) of 4.52, though the FFLiveWire report indicates a respectable (though not Pittmanesque :) time of 4.49.
