During the Archie Griffin years, the fullback always scored the TDs, and Archie got all the yards! At this point , Pittman should be dying to get in the zone!
The point is Archie won 2 Heisman without scoring a ton of TDs!
Big Day for Pittman: Antonio Pittman had a breakout day against the Gophers, rushing for a career-high 186 yards and scoring his first two touchdowns of the season. His 67 touchdown jaunt in the third quarter that broke a 17-17 tie was one of the turning points of the game.

"Antonio's long run in the third quarter was a real uplifter for the whole team," said OSU Head Coach Jim Tressel.
Pittman cleared the line of scrimmage on the play with the help of great blocking by offensive linemen Rob Sims, T. J. Downing and Alex Boone. Once he cleared the linebackers, Pittman lit up the afterburners and simply outran everybody.
"People don't realize just how fast he is," said OSU wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez.
"He showed how fast he really is. We all knew, but now everyone else knows it as well," Gonzalez said.

Pittman Selected Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week
The Big Ten announced the following student-athletes as the Big Ten Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games on Saturday, October 29
CO-OFFENSE:
Antonio Pittman, Ohio State, SO, TB, Akron, Ohio/Buchtel
Pittman averaged an impressive 8.1 yards per carry on his way to a career-best 186 yards on 23 carries and added a pair of touchdowns to lead Ohio State to a road victory at Minnesota. After the Gophers rallied to knot the score at 17-17 entering the half, the sophomore tailback broke loose for a career-long and OSU season-best 67-yard scoring romp to break the tie early in the third quarter. The Buckeyes would outscore the hosts 28-14 in the second half to pull away, including a second touchdown for Pittman from four yards out in the final stanza. The Ohio native topped 100 yards on the ground for the third straight game, the fifth time this season and the sixth time in his career, surpassing his previous career-best of 171 yards set earlier this season against Iowa. Pittman, who ranks fourth among Big Ten players in all games with 110.2 rushing yards per game, picks up the first weekly accolade of his career.
Lets hope he gets enough carries by halftime.....
...I believe this kid has a bright future with OSU and will be a 1,000 yd rusher before the season is over.
