Ravens at Browns(-1.5)

Romeo will start DA until he is fired.

Vinny [censored]ing Testaverde all over again. Except DA sucks more.
Yep, frustrating as hell. Thing is, Anderson will have a couple more really good games, so everytime you think they may actually make the move, he does enough to keep the job. Then, of course, he follows that up with a turd. I hate the fucker. Also, it's been said before, but how does a 6'6 QB manage to get that many balls batted down? I wish we could just send him and Romeo out on a package deal. Quinn's an unproven quantity, but can he really be any worse? DA will tease you with 1 1/2 good quarters, then revert back to the mental defective that he is in the 4th quarter, errant throws, mind-boggling decisions...

The coaching staff gave the game away today. The defense gave the game away today. I don't want to hear about this same old bull[censored] about DA.

If you're putting the blame for this loss on the quarterback, you're short-sighted. If your team puts up 27 points in midway through the third quarter agains the Ravens' defense, you should win. If you don't, then the defense and coaching staff blew the game.

When the offense was moving the ball well, they put the cuffs on and ran on 1st and 2nd down. Then they left them to find a first down on third and long. I swear I thought Jim Tressel was calling the plays. Then Braylon drops a gimme TD.

To everyone continuing to rip DA to shreds, I hope you get your wish. If you look at the rest of the schedule, the season is over. Might as well put in Brady Quinn to see what he can do. But don't come crying back to the board when he sucks worse than Derek Anderson.

Brady will not suck more than Derek Anderson.

No basis for it other than Anderson's complete ineptitude.

Either way, I'm ready to find out.

And when he does suck, we'll be back to zero quarterbacks.

Just as a forecast, one thing you won't have to worry about with Brady: Braylon dropping deep bombs. Brady can't throw 'em.

EDIT: This reminds me so much of the fans booing Tim Couch for Kelly Holcomb. Couch led the team to the playoffs, but the fans booed him incessantly nonetheless. Killed his career. Holcomb sucked. I swear these fans would have booed if we had Manning when he went 0-8.

Worst fucking fans in the NFL.

How do you have a 2 TD lead in the 2nd half and lose by 10? 24 unanswered points. :shake:

Yep, Romeo and DA are your men for sure :roll1:
well JCOSU the first thing I would do to lose a 2 TD lead is throw the ball to Edwards as many times as I could Uh Huh, and then I would keep throwing it to him just to see how many danged times he could drop the ball.
Uh Huh. Then I would have a coach that keeps calling his number , Uh huh, and then I would bet on the other team Uh Huh. .......

Fuck this team.

I hate this fucking team.

I will not watch this fucking team another time all year.

Why the hell did we abandon the pass after we scored on four possessions in a row? How fucking dumb are we?

We were throwing all over the defense and then decided to go back to this formula:

1) Run on first down, gain 2 yards at the most

2) Run on second down, gain 2 yards at the most

3) Pass on third and long

Fuck this team.

And Edwards and Anderson suck ass.

That is all.

People blaming this on DA are clueless....he played pretty well today. The game is over if Braylon doesn't drop the 50 yard bomb.

How many games has Braylon cost us this year......he 100% cost us today's game, b/c the game is over if he catches the deep throw, and I think I can comfortably say we beat Pittsburgh if he catches a few important throws. It's amazing someone withas much talent as he has, can drop such perfectly thrown balls.

Again, nice game DA, [censored]ty game Braylon.

I'd also like to congratulate the coaching staff on the screen pass interception DA threw. It looked as though half the team knew it was a screen, and everyone else was clueless. It's such a jeckyll and hyde team. Maybe DA is at fault for throwing it, I'm just unsure as to how some people were blocking for a screen, but Wright wasn;t ready for it, and the blcoking wall was half set-up. The team is so unorganized...if Cleveland had a coach who knew how to get the entire team on one page, we're several games over .500.

BTW, did anyone else go ape-[censored] at the end of the first half when they took 10 seconds to decide to take a time-out? Thankfully, it didn;t hurt them b/c they nailed a 54 yard field goal. but Romeo, yet again, has no idea how to manage the clock. We should have gotten the ball with 40 seconds, but instead had 30. How does someone who gets paid to coach football, not know the intricacies of a game?

It's unbelievable.

What gets me is that this team really should be good. We have the worst coach in the league, period.

The season is over. Romeo should have been fired even after last year. He should have been fired after another Steelers' loss earlier this year that he blew. And he should be fired now. Not after dinner. Now.

I don't give a fuck who you put back as QB, without a consistent running game and spotty at best pass blocking, Tom Brady with Michael Vick's mobility would have issues.

Brady isnt' the answer as much as Crennel is the problem. This team has no toughness and after it went up 27-13, it lost it's focus because there is absolutely NO leadership to go along with it.

The Browns don't have any QBs, they will lose the Solja (hopefully) and maybe hopefully Romeo gets his fat ass canned and a REAL defensive scheme (one that doesn't put an ancient McGinnest on a WR in the slot) can be installed.

Hell no all of the blame doesn't go to DA, but he didn't help anything those last 3 drives. Braylon is a piece of shit and if he doesn't drop that easy TD, we probably aren't all on here bitching about losing to the old Browns again. But, over those last three drives he made three boneheaded throws. He has 2 big pics if KW2 doesn't break up the one, another forced throw and then the pic six that slammed the door shut. That was fucking bush league. All of this falls on the coaching staff because they are ultimately responsible for the atrocious playcalling and the lack of preperation and adjustments. The TD pass to Mason that made it 27-20 was inexcusable defensive playcalling...absolutely absurd. But don't say DA isn't in the mix for some blame.

As far as having zero QB's if Brady flops, WTF kind of thinking is that? So what do you do? Just keep him in your hip pocket because you're afraid of him flopping? What Brady may at least bring you is consistency. DA will wow you with a pretty deep throw (likely dropped by that scUM reciever...I've decided I'm not uttering his name anymore), then make you want to put your fist through the fucking wall. I'll take less pretty deep balls (likely dropped anyway) for a more consistent short and intermediate passing game. You traded up into the 1st round to get the guy, when do you go to him?

It's all a fucking moot point anyway as Romeo's ass ain't gonna yank DA.

There are some people who are not blaming this loss on DA but the offense did not put up 27 points. They really only put up 20 and they really only drove the ball the length of the field once and DA almost threw an interception at the end of that drive when he lofted the ball to :pissed:scumbag in the end zone. DA might have a rifle of and arm but he cannot see the field and cannot throw a touch pass. Some of the guys say stick with Anderson because Quinn get through the ball. I guess since we haven't seen him since his college days we really can't tell that and we really need to find out before the beginning of next season.

I also blamed the losses on not only Romeo but also Savage. I don't know how many of his draft choices are still on the roster but I did not think that there are many. We have a lot of signed FA's but not that many draft choices. Also, Savage made a brave move when he traded up one spot with the rat birds to get Wembley and they took Ngata... brilliant move. He has made similar moves which have not panned out. It's almost like this team needs to be completely rebuilt. We have no linebackers and Tucker needs to get ahold of our secondary and show them how to play. I have never seen a Browns team that is so inconsistent. I would rather see a team play bad all the time rather than get our hopes up only to put on a miserable performance the very next week.
