Decent? The only thing decent about this mess will be the resulting draft position, lord willing.
Tune in next week for the first round of the Adrian Peterson Playoffs. The Texans are apparently the #1 seed in this thing, so they get a bye.

And yet I still see 30-35 Browns fans there on Sunday when going in, we all thought it could be ugly. Why? Loyalty and guarded optimism. And maybe that's funny to Bengals' fans, only because they don't know what that is.

buckeyefool;617393; said:Well you are a browns fan.........Although you aren't much of a real browns fan since the real team is in baltimore now. Just think of it this way.....the team you rooted for for many years actually did win yesterday.
StadiumDorm;617399; said:I've come to the conclusion that I've kicked ass in an argument with a Bengals or Steelers' fan when this gets said. It's like, "shit, he's right... better make fun of him because their prick-ass owner in '95 shipped his team out of town" as if I had the power to stop it.
buckeyefool;617403; said:Yup you kicked my ass in that arguement. your right.....of course I am sure with teh low standard you are use to the browns setting the standard you set for yourself winning a arguement is pretty low also.
And I am not saying that you had the power to stop the move, but don't sit here and act like the expansion teams is the browns team that existed for years. They are an expansion team, and really don't have any of the history that they had because those stats ended when the team left.
StadiumDorm;617407; said:Actually, they really do have the history they had. But I'm sure you knew that, considering how rich and smart you are.
buckeyefool;617409; said:Does the NFL claim that the fake browns have the real browns history? Sure do. But everyone knows that the real browns are in baltimore. I mean seriously, do you truely blame modell for wanting to move the team? He was able to win a superbowl with his team just in a different town.

Field goal wouldve won the game, but instead he threw a pick from 5 yards out.
Great.

McGinest had a sack and three tackles... not pro bowl stuff but he did contribute.Bucknut319;617051; said:I got pretty excited in the off season about all the key free agents that we got. But when you think about it, not one has made any substantial impact. Bentley...out, Jurivicious...out, McGinnis...hasn't done shit. I guess big Ted is the only one who has really helped.
Then you figure in having Winslow and Braylon back...there was a real reason to be optimistic.
StadiumDorm;617347; said:This Browns team is actually decent. Winslow and Edwards are top tier players at their positions, and the defense is coming along great, especially the newbies. It's easy to get down after such a tough loss, but you can finally see how far this team has come and is going.
