Penn State football freshman facing misdemeanor theft charges
Penn State offensive tackle Rasheed Walker is facing misdemeanor theft charges after stealing another student’s bike on campus.
According to Penn State police, Walker confessed to stealing a Trek 830 mountain bike that was reported missing from directly under a surveillance camera by the Lasch Football Building on Sept. 11.
Walker, 18, allegedly took the mountain bike, valued at $150, and disposed of it near his residence building because he did not feel like walking back to his residence building that day.
The Penn State freshman is being charged with one misdemeanor count of theft by unlawful taking and one misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property.
Walker’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 31.

This very serious crime hits close to home for me. I had my bike stolen in college too. Dragged myself out of bed even though I was hungover and didn't want to go to class. Walked to the rack where it was locked up b/c I had to ride to class and there was nary a bike to be seen there. Pretty sure my reaction was to get the nearest sandwich and go back to bed.

He doesn't....which is offensive to a lot of people. His last name is Walker and Adam Taliaferro couldn't walk for a while.
I just don't understand how their PR team could have missed that.
