QB1 Julian Sayin (All B1G, B1G Frosh of Year, All American, National Frosh of Year, National Champion)

Only saving grace would be if he got dinged early in the game and the last shot took him out. Even in bad games he’s never floated the ball and missed that badly.

But if that’s not the case, they’ll definitely have to make a decision. Can’t operate the offense against good teams if your QB who specializes in accuracy isn’t accurate. There are a few names that might be interested in hitting the portal.
This.

Lets be real - this program has been gaslighting us about its QBs since Stroud left.

Right now this looks like an identical repeat of the 2023 debacle. The starter is mid and the others are just flat out not good.

We're in absolute survival mode until Sayin comes back (if he does).
I haven't been gaslighted by anyone. Maybe you have.

Good luck.

I have never doubted Day when it comes to QB but I’m starting to.

Hopefully with time to prepare to come in it looks a lot better in two weeks.

It's like that weird thing that happens when coordinators become head coaches, return to coordinating, and are completely out of the loop.

I'm definitely in the same camp. Could very well be an uncomfortable off-season for a few people.

Oh, Day is definitely hitting the portal. I think that is a forgone conclusion at this point.

I dont even know what gas lighted means.

Not sure what this means. TSC’s development is frustrating, but that’s the danger of taking talented kids from small schools that don’t play anyone. Fahey is better than I’d expect from a freshman, but to be the longterm answer at 5’10, he’d either need elite athleticism or arm talent. Sayin hit his ceiling, but it happens. I wouldn’t have wanted them to move on from him after 1 year.

I don’t see this as close to 2023, but certainly a step below other past years. Unless Sayin comes back a changed man, they’ll be looking at transfers plus a new OL coach and possibly OC.
