QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Does anyone know when this was? Was it a recent development?

The list is long, but it includes Notre Dame's Charlie Weis, Pitt's Dave Wannstedt, Ohio State's Jim Tressel, Michigan's Lloyd Carr, Connecticut's Randy Edsall, Wisconsin's Bret Bielema, USC assistant coach Brennan Carroll, Tennessee assistant David Cutcliffe, Texas offensive coordinator Greg Davis and Penn State assistants Tom Bradley and Jay Paterno. Reitz said USC coach Pete Carroll, Rutgers coach Greg Schiano and other head coaches are expected to visit soon.

From April 15 to May 31, college coaches are allowed two visits in a month to a recruit's school to check on his academics and evaluate his play during the season and at camps. They cannot speak to the prospect at school, but they are permitted one telephone call. Coaches also can send mail to a prospect and, until a new NCAA rule takes effect Aug. 1, communicate by cell phone text messages. Prospects are permitted to call coaches.

I know Pryor wants to play both Basketball and Football in college. So two of the top teams in both are probably high on his list, Ohio State and Florida. And out of the two, it's more likely in my opinion he goes to OSU, because it's closer to home, and there is less competition for him to grab the starting QB job. If you guys got him, it would be a great sign, obviously. :wink2:

A Pitt homer must have wrote that piece. Why the low blow towards OSU? Sounds like a jealous pitt fan to me. Does anyone know how credible he is?

Pittsburgh sports fans consider that site a joke. They are always stealing info and I know that Rivals, Scout, and The Pittsburgh Sports Report have all told them to quit stealing their stuff. In this case, they didn't steal it, but rather made it up, which they have been known to do also. There is no name associated with the site so that's all you need to know. It's just some hack who doesn't want discovered.

Attention Mr. Pryor:

Here are the receivers likely to join you at tOSU, should you choose to matriculate with them:

WR Cordale Scott - 6' 3", 197, 4.46
WR DeVier Posey - 6' 3", 180, 4.5
WR/FL Lamaar Thomas - 5' 11", 175, 4.4
TE Nic DiLillo - 6'5", 255, 4.85
TE/HB Jake Stoneburner - 6' 5", 215, 4.53

That's 20 stars |********************| and counting. There are a couple of other guys who might want in as well, so the total could go as high as 29|*****************************|. Those would be your receiving targets from among your own recruiting class, not to mention the guys already at tOSU and the younger guys who'll arrive while you're there.

You shouldn't have much trouble finding guys to catch your passes. Or to help you win some NCs and, of course, your Heisman.

PS - There'll also be a pretty good group on the O-Line to block for you.

From the OSU site...Pryor talks about life on the AAU circuit this Summer. May visit WVU for an unofficial while he is in town playing basketball.
