Vick is listed at 4.25 and Young at 4.58:
ESPN - Scout: Young's 40 time of 4.58 slower than expected - NFL
Yes VY has good, deceptive speed... but he's not a speeding bullet like Vick, especially not his first step.akronbuck;879048; said:Young showed the fastest 4.58 against USC when he destroyed them for the TITLE. The best college game won by a single player EVER. He's showed that SPEED in the NFL to. Who timed him the NCAA.
Not live, but their running styles are similar.Has anyone seen Pryor play? My main thought about him, is can he run like Young in a game?
it has been stated various places about the 4.25, IIRC it was electronically timed. As for Young and Pryor they are "gliders" because of their long strides and neither is nearly as fast as Vick. If Pryor can get his motion/accuracy in order his potential is limitless.starBUCKS;879041; said:Where is it stated that Vick runs a 4.25.... And who was holding the stop watch?

As I parked on the street, I got a better view of the weight room where the Jeannette High School football team trains. It was indeed a two-car garage with four benches, about two racks of old free weights and what looked like a few dumbbells.
The garage is owned by Jeannette strength coach Roy Hall, one of the funniest guys I've run into in my years covering top prospects. Hall provides the space because Jeannette High School doesn't have a weight room. Hall also provides the discipline with a yard stick, something every kid in that garage fears with a passion. Call it yardstickaphobia. If someone's slacking off or goofing around ... whack!
PSU
T Pryor?s visit with Paterno didn?t go as well as PSU fans would have liked. Apparently Joe gave some rambling comparison between his Italian immigrant relatives and T Pryor?s African immigrant relatives. He was trying to say we are the same, but apparently it was so jumbled T Pryor and his coach walked away shaking their heads. Just a generation gap misunderstanding I guess.
This doesn?t exclude them but it doesn?t help them.
USC
T Pryor visited with Pete Carroll and he REALLY liked him. The biggest obstacle is the distance and his father. Pete Carroll promised him a shot at QB.
Alabama
T Pryor also really clicked with Nick Saban. I know they haven?t been mentioned before, but they are now in the picture. Also promised him a shot at QB.
Pitt
Just as T Pryor prematurely commited to Pitt, he has apparently prematurely dropped them from the list. I?ve heard they are still in the running thanks to DW and staff?s stepping up of the recruiting process. His father also still wants him to consider Pitt. Despite internet rumors, DW offered a shot at QB.
OSU
Still the leader by a LOT. They are still ?recruiting? him the way they know how.
