QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

One of the bosses at work has a 09 Charger and he has taken it back to the dealers at least 4 times.

Look, anything's possible, but don't try to make this sounds commonplace because it isn't. It's possible there is nothing amiss with that but getting pulled over three times in a loaner is irregular at best.

Bottom line? Pryor needs to quit test-driving Chrysler products.

A slightly ADD Christmas Story

This isn't that complicated. A young player and his buddies need cars to do their Christmas shopping and run to Best Buy to purchase "Call of Duty" and other great games for the new XBox 360s being given to family at Christmas. They need gas money for the car, so they sell some of their stuff. While passing Best Buy, they notice the tatoo parlor and decide to check it out. The prices are a little steep for the freshmen athletes (who are on a budget) and so they decide to sell some more of their stuff to get the mother of all Buckeye Tats - won't the Buckeye Nation be amazed? Then the tatoo artist sees an opportunity to promote his struggling business in a crap economy and he make the kids an offer. This conversation was spoken in the Cone of Silence and we can all spectulate on the words spoken. "Hey, thanks for the nice work" as they stealthly leave the store with pockets empty and they drive back to their spartan dorm rooms (I mean frugale not scUM's little brother). As they hurry to get home, the car's engine blows and the connecting rods are hanging out of the oil pan with oil and smoke everywhere. The poor students desperately need to get home. So they push the car off the road near another car dealer and start to jog. The local cops see the group with one lanky 6' -6" young athlete running along the road and stop to see if "he" needs help. "Nope, just just blew the engine, we'll be fine. Coach says we need to workout anyway". Cops leave and the kids keep pushing forward until they find another car dealer ahead. The tall kid enters the dealership and the opportunistic salesman, who is a huge Buckeye fan, decides to help these young athletes out. "Do you want to test drive one of my fine used cars?" The tall kid says "Sure, but I need to take it home to show my mom though." The eager car salesman agrees and the kid is back in the saddle in his shiny black SUV. 200 miles later and nearly out of gas, the kid arrives home for the Holidays gifts in hand and a new car (albiet a loaner) to enjoy Christmas.

Moral of the story - never drive a loaner car out of state with "Dealer" plates on, a load of games and XBox hanging out the back end. Check with the NCAA first before leaving the state, they have the multi-state permit to distrubute their own form of cheer upon unsuspecting young student athletes. And, remember to tip the car dealer when you return - Oops no money for tips (against the rules anyway). Just sign the windshield will your name and number and say "GO BUCKS". One more point, always give your team-mates a ride home, they can't afford the car, the gas, the video games, XBox360 and tatoos either!

Note: this is a fictional story and names are withheld to protect the innocent.

Boy, that yahoo article didn't read like someone with a vendetta against OSU, eh? Pryor can take the heat while no one says a thing about Newton's much worse offense anymore.

The writer of that article has nothing against TOSU or Pryor, but he is grinding his ax against the NCAA and their BCS and the bowl system which he feels is completely corrupt.

Hmm..actually no.
Wetzel doesn't have a vendetta against OSU. He has a vendetta against the hypocrisy of college sports. I could link about 3-4 articles he's written about the whole Cam Newton saga, but that's not really the point.

I think it's a misperception to state that it's lazy journalism and that they should seek insight in the form of X's & O's discussion and disregard this huge news item.
The news item should not be ignored - rather the interrogation of the players was pointless and lazy. You're not going to learn anything, so what's the objective?

Plus, he wrote a pretty good book on the subject-

The one sure thing is that Pryor will play for Ohio State Tuesday night against Arkansas in the Superdome. It's a fickle fan base, so maybe a Rose Bowl replay, a little Sugar from Terrelle on the field, where only the numbers and the results count, would sweeten his Buckeye legacy.

He will talk with his legs and arm. Those unspoken words are what TP is all about.
