QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

But I also know this: Take care of business on and off the field, and the rankings/polls/votes will take care of itself.

Win games and stay out of controversies and don't give them any ammo to shoot you with. Everything else will take care of itself. Every time Pryor opens his mouth, he invites an ever greater scrutiny and opens himself up to even more criticism.

He needs to be quiet.

Agreed wholeheartedly. It would be in his best interest, but the motor is always runny and the he doesn't always think before he speaks. Great QB for us, just wish he was a bit more humble with all this. Probably not going to happen...

Count me among those that wish TP would be above this, but he was asked what he thought about Herbie's assinine comments. I would have been impressed had he taken the high road, but I'm not overly disappointed with his response.

We are getting absolutely assraped over this "scandal" by espn. It isn't too much to ask Herbstreit to either shut up about it or point out some of the positive ways that OSU handled it. Instead he took a potshot at Pryor. Seriously, I'm done defending Herbie at this point.

In the words of an OSU quarterback that has beaten Michigan 3 times: He a fake Buckeye.

Pryor doesn't gain anything with opening his mouth like this. Nothing good can come from it.

That said, Herbstreit does not want to open a conversation about comparative achievements as Ohio State quarterbacks.

I am glad to see Herbie ignoring it.

From Pryor's perspective he is probably just flat out done with the media. He has taken shit his entire career from every reporter out there because he didn't repeat Vince Young's miracle season in his true freshman year.

Should he keep quiet, yes. Do I have a problem with him answering a question, no. "superstar" athletes are wired differently than us normal people. At this point he is who he is.

As others have said, he no Buckeye, Fredo Herbstreit is dead to me and has been for years. His fixation with Petey's nutsack, his comments about how no offensive player in HS should want to come to tOSU, this years him wanting to collectively have Boise State Nations child, and his ongoing fued with a college kid, again, he no Buckeye, [mark may] he no professional, he's acting like he's jealous that he didn't get the chance to sell any hardware.

Not sure what that has to do with the fact that TP should put a muzzle on it. Lead by example instead of by running your mouth.

How in the fuck is that a "fact"?

Also, plenty of leaders have been effective mouth runners. In fact, the better he leads on the field, the more he can flap his gums off it. He wins a NC next year, he can literally go on ESPN and tell Herbie to suck a fat horse cock and I'll DVR that shit to replay for my future children.

pryor needs to shutup...plain and simple...hes in enough hot water as it is

Why does Pryor need to shut up?

The minute someone posts something on here that isn't liked, guess what - a response is given by another poster. Now imagine being criticized about YOUR talents every week, said you were over rated, that you will never make it in life, and a million other negativities about yourself. This is the rigors of being Pryor. He takes crap not only on message boards like this one, but also in the public eye for his family to hear, it has to be flat out embarrassing.

I say good for him for standing up for himself. I guarantee no one on here can take being talked bad about for 3 years straight without responding.
