I'm on the TP bandwagon come hell or high water but I have a feeling that nothing this kid does will ever be good enough for some of the OSU fanbase.

I was at a halloween party last night and all anyone was talkking about was Pryor's poor completion percentage against NMS and how he stunk it up yet again.

I had to be the voice of reason. There were a couple throws he could have hit but for the most part he played pretty well. I haven't watched it a second time or looked at any game logs but I bet over half of his incompletions were long bombs. We were definitely trying to get our timing down on those long passes. Pryor hit the one to open the game with a sweet throw.

When things broke down he ran....and he ran north and south. He did everything you could ask for today. And the one throw that was almost picked, the receiver fell down on his out cut. Great game by TP and the defense!

You're absolutely right, you just can't please everyone. Fuck em!

He played pretty damn good for one half of football. It was obvious the offense was going to go deep several times to send a message for the stretch run in November. I liked the play calling and TP's decision making.

If Pryor has "regressed" as a QB, then you'd have to say The Tot has fallen down the fucking well. He looked like an All-American early in the season; now he looks like he'd be 3rd string at New Mexico State.

I think he has always known that. I just think he is getting comfortable now doing things that most fans take for granted. He's always known what he he has to do, I think that he has just had a tough time executing what he set out to do when things break down.
It's really exciting to see him with real pocket presence in there. Obviously, his athletic ability outside the pocket will always be exciting.

Could you guys please keep it down about the Posey going through his progression and going to his second read? I was able to watch part of the TSUN game and Tater likes to stare 'em down and show loyalty to the primary receiver. I just think letting these trade secrets out could get back to him

next year when we are undefeated and headed to the nc game and pryor is in new york as one of the front runners for the heisman. all these people talking smack will be saying they never doubted and were just pointing out the things he needed to work on.

of course he does, most young qb's do. as much as i enjoy making fun of the tater tot, realistically he's fine for the most part. he's locked into an offense that i don't think will work in the big 10, he is surrounded by inferior talent not only on offense but on defense to what he faces on a regular basis in the big 10, and he is about the right size to be split in half by the average big 10 lb. other than that.. he's just fine :P.

the tater tot your seeing now is pretty much the same guy we all saw at the begining of the season. he's regressed a little by not going through his reads as often, hesitating, being tenative in the pocket and the like. but thats to be expected. we've all seen scum's schedule, it was setup for this. they faced absolutely noone the first half of the season. now that they are in the meat of their schedule and they aren't playing against air anymore things are a tad more difficult. the only two things that have surprised me so far is A. they beat ntre ame and B. they have had such a hard time beating several of the teams they did beat. indiana for example.

Pryor had a good half, but I wouldn't say it was great by any means. His jump ball to the endzone early in the game was a poor decision to say the least. And he was late on two out patterns that could have been pic 6's if Aggie DB's had any hands at all. That's 3 poor decisions out of 23, and that's just off the top of my head from what I saw in 25C. That certainly isn't great, and definitely won't get a winning grade from Tress. But, he did step into many passes well, and the over-thrown long balls are nothing to worry about. Plus, his throw to Ballard with a DE draped on him was freaking awesome.

He was less than 50% passing against NMST. Granted, there was at least one drop by Posey, but most of the "best" plays on offense in the first half were broken plays. I'd agree with others that when he steps into the pass, he's got plenty of arm, but the decisions still arent' great and going through progressions isn't something we see a lot yet.

I thought the offense looked pretty atrocious..not putting it on Terrelle, but it wasn't pretty.

I'm glad he's looking to create more when he doesn't find an open receiver....I could be wrong but I haven't seen him pat the ball like he was on Saturday throughout his tenure at tOSU. I think on just about every broken play, he patted the ball 3 times, tucked the ball and ran. It seemed like a design....maybe they've been working with Terrelle on when to create? It's like his timer.
