Jeff - I thought you were a professional? Taking unsubstantiated jabs at a 19 y/o kid (Pryor)? TP was nice enough to act like PSU still has the clout to bring in top level recruits

yeah... double meaning post... classy by paterno... shitty by the writer

Has Pryor always relied on a stiff arm, or is Beanie rubbing off on him? I was just watching the highlight vid from MSU and he had a decent stiff arm on his TD run, but he had a rediculous stiff arm with 9:15 left in the 4th quarter.

I'm sure he's had it in his repitua. I'm unsure if he has "relied" on it as high school kids aren't as skilled as D1 players. I know on that TD run that there wasn't much else he could do except stiff arm.

It seems that most of the taller athletes that are great, too have a great stiff arm. I think it's a natural reaction to something, it's so hard to stop......especially when paired with speed.

i love it. he uses those long arms to his advantage. its like a big brother trying to keep his little bro from hitting him by putting his hand on his forehead. pretty funny to watch sometimes.

FCUK this guy

"given the state's wounded reaction to criticism of Ohio State's serial pratfalls in major national games. First there was Florida, then LSU, then USC -- but now, returned to the safe (and slow) harbor of the Big Ten, the Bucks are rolling once more. "

Staying in the mid 230's will be good enough to absorb hits but allow him to keep his elite speed.

He just needs to learn how to slide or at least lower his pads when defensive player is coming in to hit him. That sort of slight crouching thing he does scares the crap out of me.
