QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

I don't know why people are trying to make this comparison, much less a newspaper. Clark is obviously a better passer at this stage and that alone makes him a better QB.

Pryor has uber potential that is unmatched, but he's still a freshman starting just his 6th game. Clark is much more polished and operates a much more efficient and powerful offense right now.

It's no slight to Pryor when you say he isn't as good as one of the 15 best offensive generals in the nation. Pryor will get there eventually.

So since TB is a better passer he is a better QB? I think the coaches at t
OSU have put the better QB on the field. I'm not knocking TB he is a great leader. I just feel Tress and the coaches have not yet let TP do what he does best. We got a glimpse of it last weekend at MSU. Terrelle himself has said to the critics (MARK MAY)
"People don't know me and people don't know what I can do. Everyone thinks that I'm overrated. Wait and see. The time will come and you'll find out."
The coaches heard and more importantly listened to the players after the Purdue game about the way they felt about the offense. I truly believe at the MSU game the players were having FUN. I think this week we will see more of the same. Tress did the same progession with the offense when TS took over (and I think he turned out pretty good)
I have watched a little of Clark and the HD offense. Am I impressed yes to an extent but I don't think their offense will do anyting to our D (which has stepped it up BIG TIME). If we can stop Ringer then I feel Royster has no chance. Clark will have to beat us himself which I just can't see happening. It's going to be a great game nonetheless.:oh:

I didn't say anything about Boeckman. Clark is more mobile and throws less INTs than Boeckman.

And I'm not sure why people are saying that TRess is holding Pryor back. I talked about his inexperience in my last post and I just don't think he's had enough time to do everything people think he can. He's only been at OSU for a couple months and really I think it's amazing that he's doing what he's doing right now.

He's already ahead of the game compared to Young, Bradford, Tebow, etc. None of those guys had to lead their teams on offense in the true freshman years.

From what they have showed us against their respective opponents this year, Clark > Pryor > Boeckman. There really shouldn't be any argument, and like it's been said before, you can't compare Clark to Pryor - two different playing styles, levels of experience, etc.

Yes our defense has really stepped up, but this will be the best offensive line (meaning Penn State's) our defense has faced all season, bar none. Those guys are the heart and soul of that HD offense. Clark, Royster, Norwood, and Williams all benefit from that great o-line. They are physical, nasty, and very well schooled.

I think our defense can certainly make them earn their scholarship this Saturday night, and they are going to have to if they want to be successful. But what is this defense going to do when Penn State drives 80 yards down field for 6 points? That most likely will happen at some point in the game. How will they respond? That's my biggest question mark.

Boone and Browning will have their work cut out for them. Maurice Evans is a great DE for the Nittany Lions. Their work on the outsides will be critical to our offensive success. Beanie will get his touches on the inside, that will have to open up our option game.

This should be a great one!!

Terrelle has such long strides. He really seems fast. I wonder if he will do any weight lifting after this season. At 6' 5" and 240lbs, does he want to? If he does would it help or be a hinderance to his abilitys ? Just asking.......

He checked in at 6'5.5" 225 lbs at that incoming freshmen Bio-whatever the fuck it's called experiment. Not sure he should get much bigger than 235.

Agreed..

Now, if he adds five lbs. of facial hair, that might be beneficial.

In so long as it doesn't look like this:

Don't know how he'd get it under the helmet.

235 would be fine as would 240. I really doubt he gets over that. Staying in the mid 230's will be good enough to absorb hits but allow him to keep his elite speed.
