QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

The thing I'm liking is on his throws, receivers are WIDE-OPEN. There is so much respect given to his feet that receivers aren't facing lots of double teams.

As TP becomes more comfortable, heis going to really knive up D's.

Great point. This kid is really a dynamic talent, it's really starting to come through now. The thing that has REALLY impressed me with him is his attitude. I knew that he was a once in a decade talent, I just wondered if he was a bit cocky. He has really made a positive impression on this team, he's a born leader. He's guy who will make Ohio State, once again a national title contender.

He's a class act. I really questioned his motives for delaying his decision on which college (and all the press that went along with it).

However, he is really demonstrating that he wants what is best for the team, whether it involves him or not. (Same thing could be said for Todd, did anyone notice his demeanor on the sidelines this Saturday?)

Does Pryor hear critics? He just May
'Wait and see,' QB says,

with Penn State up next

EAST LANSING Terrelle Pryor is adamant that he doesn't listen to his critics on television. Ohio State's freshman quarterback, however, seems to know exactly what ESPN analyst Mark May is saying about him.

For the second time this season, Pryor mentioned of comments that May made regarding the young quarterback's abilities. Those doubts and questions only seem to fuel Pryor's fire to prove his worth each week.

"I don't listen," Pryor said after leading the Buckeyes offense to four touchdowns in a whipping against previous No. 20 Michigan State, 45-7. "People don't know me and people don't know what I can do. Everyone thinks that I'm overrated. Wait and see. The time will come and you'll find out."

The time has come.

Ohio State gets a second chance to salvage its national title hopes this weekend against No. 3 Penn State. This time, the Buckeyes get the opportunity in a night game at Ohio Stadium. OSU has yet to lay out consecutive solid performances this season.

"That's always the challenge ... to become a good team, you have to play well every week," Head Coach Jim Tressel said. "We didn't have many penalties. Did we turn it over? (No). We've got to keep that up. I don't know where our team is. We'll find out Saturday night against the Nittany Lions."

TP seems to be growing into a "man" in front of our eyes. Great game Saturday against Sparty. It is still awesome to see him, even with all the talent in his legs, be a throw first, run second QB. I'm not sure if the staff changed the package, expanded it or shrunk it (though it was nice to see more play action and a few more passes on first down) but TP and the offense looked much better.

I'm sure he will want to put up an impressive display in the upcoming spotlight game with Game Day on the scene against his home State school. For most freshmen, I would be concerned about him putting too much pressure on himself and having a bad game, but with TP, I feel things will be different and he will put on a very nice show.

I know there will continue to be some growing pains for him and the Bucks but it sure is fun to watch him grow.

Coming from Pennsylvania, I'm sure Saturday nights game against Penn State is very important to TP. He's getting more experience each week he plays, and showed good decision making against MSU. Most importantly, he is not turning the ball over and giving the oppossing Defense a short field to work with.

Penn State can be run on and so here's hoping and expecting TP to have the right reads as to whether he keeps the ball or hands off to BEANIE. On the other side of the ball, if our D can keep Royster to under 100 yds., we should be able to win the game.

GO BUCKS!!

He's done a phenomenal job of this so far, but it can't hurt to mention again. If Terrelle can continue to play within himself, and not try to do too much, he will be fine. And besides, if things don't work out, just hand the ball off to #28. He's pretty good, too.

HorticullyBuc - "Was there a face mask in there for a split second? Or just bad angle/eyes"

Definitely should have been a face mask penalty called. Refs missed that one.

Also, TP should have got the Jack Tatum hit of the week on that one stiff arm. I know it goes to a defensive player, but I would have made an exception this week.
