QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Interesting quote from that alligator sports article:

The fact that his father, Craig, is confined to a wheelchair has fueled speculation that he will attend nearby Pittsburgh, Penn State or Ohio State, but Pryor is keeping his options open, including a possible move to Gainesville.
I thought all the "speculation" about Pryor staying close to home was because Pryor said so himself, so this looks like a gator writer putting a different spin on it for his audience. I'll need to see more comments about him having an open mind about distance before I'll believe he's changed his stance on that.

Yes, their recruiting services are just dreadful. (I fixed your question

ND is too far for Pryor's dad, and there's no way he'll be playing early over Demetrius & Jimmy.

Actually, ND won't even give him a chance to compete with Demetrius & Jimmy C. They're recruiting him as a DE.

Not joking.

THE HIRING of Bob Huggins as West Virginia's new basketball coach may end up paying dividends for the Mountaineer football program.

One of the top-five football prospects in the nation is a 6-6 athlete from Jeannette High School near Pittsburgh, Terrelle Pryor.

Pryor is also an outstanding basketball player and wants to play both sports in college. Earlier, he had committed to Pitt, but has since de-committed from the Panthers. His top two choices are now thought to be Penn State or West Virginia.

He is playing AAU ball for the Pittsburgh J.O.T.S., a team coached by longtime Pittsburgh businessman, J.O. Stright. Stright is very close with Huggins and many of Stright's former players used to matriculate to Cincinnati to play when Huggins coached the Bearcats.

While Pryor is a two-sport stud, his best long-term sport professionally is thought to be football. He was a quarterback-athlete in high school, but might be a better linebacker or receiver prospect at the college or NFL level.

That article is so speculative it's not even funny...

AAU Basketball is so dirty... I can't believe the NCAA hasn't done anything about it yet... Huggins will probably hire TP's AAU coach to get him to attend WVU... It worked with Michael Beasley...

If Terrelle has any aspirations of being an NFL quarterback one day, Rich Rodriquez' offense isn't gonna help him. It might fit his current talents pretty well, but he'll never learn to throw it well enough to play at the next level...
