Kids can dream all they want but lets be real do u really think u can play quarterback at a major unv and play basketball too I dont think so.
To me, I separate his first year & other 3-4 years into two time periods. In his first year, he won't be starting at QB (Boeckman is still around), and will be another player off the bench for Matta. After march madness, he can decide if he wants to focus on one sport (devote his time to QB or BBall).

Anyone know how complicated Matta's offense is to learn? To my untrained eye, it seems like he could contribute despite focusing on FB before Jan.

Kinda makes sense with what uf is saying about the "circus" and damage control on things that have already been said, doesn't it? They were the first school that came to mind...

ohh....I'm seeing what he's saying now. I wasn't exactly sure what he meant when he first posted that.

I dont understand... dont these kids ever get tired of listening to somebody use negative recruiting tactics... If i sat down with Larry Johnson Sr. and he kept spewing junk about Ohio St. and how bad of a place it is... I'd politely get up and never listen to the guy again...

Says something about a person and a school that cant get players without lying and bringing up the negatives of other schools... Just suprised so many of these kids arent turned off by a guy like this..

I agree. But I must say that most of the kids that we missed on, due to this factor, are kids we are be going to be glad that we missed on in the end.

Yeah I don't get it... right now Tressel and Co. have some work to do when it comes to getting kids away from Penn State. I could never understand how Larry Johnson Sr. is/was able to get kids away from us but now I know. No wonder he wants to bad mouth us, we beat PSU every year, and on top of that back in 2001-2002 when his kid was romping all over teams we put him in the ground.

Anyways hopefully Pryor see's through his bull and makes his own decision not based on some persons personal opinion of a school.

Jeannette (Penn.) High quarterback Terrelle Pryor breaks free for a long run against Wilmington High. Pryor is a top recruit in football and basketball as a small forward.

Many things have been said about Terrelle Pryor, but the most common is a simple, one-word description.
Wow.
The 6-6, 220-pound junior from Jeannette (Penn.) High has been dropping jaws in two sports, beginning a heated recruiting battle between the nation's foremost programs, including UF.
Pryor has excelled as both a quarterback and small forward, and is regarded as one of the best in the country at both positions.
Rivals.com tabbed Pryor its national junior of the year in football while Scout.com ranked him the No. 7 small forward of the 2008 class.
