QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

This is a flipp'in joke. Kid goes out with some friends for a fun night, and some d*****bag messes with a friend in his group and TP voices his displeasure instead of beating the f*** out of the guy. He was totally correct in asking for his money back-he did NOTHING wrong. Alot of places in this country would have had Captain "d*****bag" dead with a gunshot to his forehead. From what I read, TP did what any "upstanding" citizen would have done. So he called the guy a "rent-a-cop," Did the guy actually have a defense for this comment? I highly doubt it, because in essence, it's exactly what the guy is. Forget the fact that this was TP, if this same thing happened to my kid, I'd tell him I was proud and would make a call to the Kennywood authorities to remind them that a potentially bad situation was avoided because my son chose not to turn this into a physical confrontation. Peace.

Hey, it was dumb and he shouldn't have gotten mouthy with the people. He definitely is at fault. Let's not make excuses for him. BUT, in the grand scheme of things it's not that big of a deal. Most 18 year old boys are mouthy with authority. Having been to Kennywood a million times in my life, they are very cautious of troublesome kids. It's like that in parks all over the country, all the way up to Disney. So they are quick to jump the gun at these kinds of places. If it happened outside of the park nobody would have known about it. But he should have been smarter and realized that a 6'6" black kid talking back to a cop in an amusement park is not going to end well for him. Sad to say, but that's life.

I guess it depends on what started the whole incident. If they "cops" started it then Pryor wasnt wrong. Police officers are supposed to uphold the law not berate people or infringe on our civil liberties. If the kids were out of line and were asked to leave for good reason then they shouldn't expect a refund and should've left accordingly.

Pryor leads Jeannette to shutout over Waynesburg
By: Adam Gretz, For the Herald-Standard
10/06/2007

JEANETTE - Waynesburg Central found out how good Jeannette's football team is Friday night as the Jayhawks rolled to a 54-0 Interstate conference victory at McKee Stadium.

Soon-to-be-superstar, quarterback Terrelle Pryor played just over a quarter, but made his presence felt in the short time he was on the field.

On Jeannette's second possession, Pryor scored his first of three touchdowns on an electrifying 5-yard run which saw him get hemmed in on the left sideline, only to reverse all the way across the field, weaving in-and-out of would-be tacklers before crossing the goal line to give the Jayhawks a quick and decisive 14-0 lead.

On the ensuing Raiders\ possession, Pryor made an impact on the defensive side of the ball when he intercepted quarterback Nick Patton to set-up Jeannette deep inside Waynesburg territory. Two plays later, Pryor scored on a quarterback keeper from 1-yard out to push the Jayhawks' lead to 21-0.

The Herald Standard - Pryor leads Jeannette to shutout over Waynesburg

Pryor, who was presented with his uniform for the 2008 U.S. Army All-American Bowl before the game, carried only three times for 16 yards but scored two touchdowns. The senior standout completed only one of his four pass attempts for 26 yards but created one of five Waynesburg turnovers with an interception midway through the first quarter.

i thought i read he was going to announce on NLOID

Forgive me if this is common knowledge, but I don't know the answer to this. We only have a limited number of scholarships left. What happens if the remaining few scholarships are taken up by other players and then a player that waits until the NLOID to commit? If there are no spots left do we lose out on the player? That would really suck for us to lose someone such as Pryor.
