Miller now sporting a honey-badger dye job.

It's college, I guess.

I recall getting a darn eyebrow ring (from Piercology on High) and multiple ear rings my first year at Ohio State. Removed them all by my second year.

If that's what Braxton wants, more power to him.

With the #1 backup a senior, and the starter a junior, if Braxton goes pro (wins the heisman & national championship this year), who do we got?

A redshirt soph (Cardale), who may have potential, but certainly wasn't on display at spring game, a 4* qb who is going through knee rehab, and a handful of walk-ons, is potentially what tOSU is looking at if the above happens.

Gotta take a headline qb this year. Most qb's need at least one year to adapt to the college 'pace' of play, let alone learn fundamentals to excell at the college level. Schlister, Braxton, Pryor, all played as freshmen, and would have benefited significantly from waiting a year, simply learning.

Take a playmaker, and hopefully give him a year to mature. And the transition from great HS qb to great college qb is a crapshoot anyway....I watch who's 'popular' out there, wants to come to OSU, etc. and scratch my head why not take them now, but then realize Urb and his coaches are paid very big bucks to make these choices, so project potential out to being that next great qb....isn't there an app for that?

I guess you are correct that you have to be prepared for anything, but I would be very surprised if Miller were to go pro after this year. Hard to think he will be ready yet.
