Talked to coach Minton about the upcoming season and the progression of Braxton. Asked if we'd see more looks on offense, and with the new OC it's pretty much a given. He sounds excited about the upcoming season, and is especially excited about the newly (and soon to be completely) improved stadium.. As am I!

I'm a bit of a Wayne fan myself (mom graduated from Wayne) and I love watching Braxton obviously. I'm a big Minton fan, one of the best coaches in Ohio. Thanks for the update.

Still doesn't take away from the fact that he will have :osu: on his jersey in 2011.

I'll be going up to the school here in the next couple of weeks to visit old teachers and coaches, so I'll talk to Minton a little more about the upcoming season..

Another tidbit I found VERY interesting (especially for people in and around Columbus), Wayne will be playing McKinley at Ohio Stadium in either the 2nd or 3rd week of the season. I'm REALLY looking forward to making the trip to Columbus to see that one. Minton is also trying to get a two game deal with Gahanna Lincoln for the next two seasons and it is all but done. Says he's tried getting dates with Hilliard Davidson but hasn't had much luck due to the schedule's of both schools.

The Incoming O-Line...

Can someone coordinate a road trip of all these fantastic O-Line recruits meeting up and then heading to BM's house. No other program in the County can present him with a collection of physical specimens like these guys to put in front of him for the duration of his collage career!

THIS IS APRIL, if BM hops on imagine the recruiting wrecking machine that will roll through the rest of the year!

Among those watching was Braxton Miller of Huber Heights (Wayne), Ohio, considered the No.1 quarterback prospect in the nation by Scout.com for the 2011 recruiting class. He?s long had scholarship offers from almost every school in the country, including OSU, Alabama, Florida, Southern California, Michigan and Notre Dame. He?s not expected to make his choice for a while, perhaps waiting until national letter of intent signing day in February.
