I think his thoughts were based off his season so far, which nothing against Braxton, but statiscally speaking, has been far from impressive so far as a quarterback. Obviously stats don't tell the entire story, especially in highschool, but it can put doubt in some people's minds.

Another update: Wayne leads Centerville 28-14... It's been the same story all season. When the run game is working, the QB looks THAT much better. Wayne has played a near perfect game so far tonight.

Wayne scores again! 35-14... I'm absolutely shocked!

Wayne scored on a 51 yard run by Braxton Miller. The kid has over 100 yards on two rushes alone. He's got to be around 130 yards total rushing, plus around 70-80 yards passing.

Miller just added about 38 kick return yards to his stats. Kid is just a beast.

I think what mbama1 was eluding to was that he's an unbelievable athlete but is he going to be another Pryor? Another QB that can't throw the football w/ accuracy to the guys who share the same jersey's in college? At least he runs w/ an edge and doesn't shy away from contact like the QB we have running the show right now.

He's got a lot of improving to do in the passing game, but he's not getting the best direction at Wayne. They tend to go with what's working. They've run a Florida type run game nearly 80% of plays. And it finally caught up to them. I think that's why we saw a more balanced attack tonight and Braxton Miller looked VERY good. I'll get stats as soon I find them out myself.

Braxton's numbers: passing,12 for 17 for 160 yds, 1 td and 1 int. Rushing,14 for 176 yds and 4 tds.

I was close on his rushing stats, but WOW... Those numbers in the passing game are impressive! He put together a complete game.

Helps that Anthone Taylor had 120 yards rushing, to take some of the weight off Braxton's shoulders.

This.

Braxton is an amazingly gifted athlete, and he does have great arm strength, nobody is denying those two things.

However, it takes a lot more than that to be a QB. He had a great game tonight, and hopefully he keeps on improving, but one game doesn't make a season and he's been pretty poor this season and he wasn't very accurate as a sophomore before the injury.

He's still got a lot to prove as a passer, but he's still got a lot of time to prove it. I am not making any predictions, nor was I in my initial post.

I am just not sure/entirely convinced yet that he's a QB in college.
