QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

I DVR's the game, and the thing stopped midway through the 4th qtr so I missed the ending.

Miller was outstanding in the first half. Those runs were just sick, and you can tell he has a very good arm with good accuracy. I am very pleased that this kid chose Ohio State and can see him being the true heir-apparent to Pryor. The future definitely look bright!!

Wayne's OL is about as effective as wet paper towels when it comes to stopping Moeller's DL. There's no point in calling passing plays - he has about 1 second before 3-4 M defenders are all up in his business. Moeller is clearly the better team right now.

Story of the 2009 season for Wayne... Sad but true. Undersized and lacking speed off the snap.

the coaches didn't do much to help him out. that one blitzer that they kept bringing off the edge was killing him. i kept waiting for them to run shotgun and try some draws or maybe a screen, but that didn't come until the very end. that was my first time getting to see braxton play, and he is one hell of a runner. some of those moves were incredible!

True, the coaching was horrendous on both sides of the ball... Should get better with time, hopefully the new OC shows a little something more than the old OC or else hiring him was a complete waste of time.

You can argue that the coaching missed some of this, but Braxton needs to make the recognition on the guy in the edge coming in as well. It's not all on the coaches.

Miller enters final prep season with 50 TDs

CINCINNATI (AP) - Some people are said to wear their hearts on their sleeves. Braxton Miller has his tattooed on his left shoulder.

The Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne High School senior quarterback has the famous Ohio State block "O'' permanently inked on his shoulder, further indication of the passion that led to his verbal commitment in June to the Buckeyes.

"I just wanted to get it out of the way - get it off my chest, get the pressure out of the way,'' the 6-foot-3, 200-pounder right-hander told the Dayton Daily News. "The recruiting process was real nice, but I just wanted to settle down and be committed to my school.''

I hope for you guys sake Tressel doesn't mes with this kids head. Unlike Pryor he is a pure running QB in the mold of Eric Crouch and Brad Smith. I smell disaster if you guys try and make him into a "dual threat" like you did with Troy Smith and Pryor.

What???? Braxton Miller is further along as a QB than either Smith or Pryor were at the same point. Both Smith and Pryor came out of high school as "running quarterbacks". Yes they could pass some but they could not make all the throws. Go back and see both of their progressions from HS to when Smith won the Heisman and where Pryor is at today. Miller is a pass first QB, however his options of who to throw to at Wayne is very thin. That's the reason, if you watched the Moeller game, he was running most of the time. Check past scouting reports on Miller and you will see a kid that can make most, if not all the passes to be a top-tier QB.
