These sum up my first reactions.

I have never hidden my feelings about how much I genuinely enjoy watching #5 play QB for the Buckeyes. So many times just gushing over his plays. Still to this day when my dad and I discuss the team (90% of my interactions with my father), we sit there and beam on about this play and that play. I was still holding out some hope to see him take snaps. One of the most electrifying players I've seen. He had the skills. Really wanted to see him as he progressed to his Senior year and made that mental jump- especially in a full-throttle Meyer offense. Goodness. And it felt so deserving for him to get the chance to play the position he grew up learning and succeeding at.

But. Glad to see he'll be on the field and got'damn if I am not giddy at the idea of him getting touches anywhere on the field as a "WR". And punt returns? Lord.

Final note- Braxton deserves his name in the Ring of Honor, a statue, something. This is one of the most selfless acts in sports and proves just how much of a damn Buckeye he is. I mean, heart and soul fully into the University, the program, his teammates, and coaches. Yes, the injury sort of forces his hands, but there is no way to discount the humility it still takes to step aside and put your talents wherever you can just in the name of winning. That's a kid you want on your team- be it football, work, or life.

I would love to shake this young man's hand and just say Thanks.

Been huge fan of brax since first hearing about this talented freshmen QB at Huber heights way back when. Kid is a true Buckeye to the core and I hope he fucking kills it this year from whatever position he plays. Just a true playmaker that I love to watch with the football in his hands. Good luck #5 in all that you do

Mixed feelings on this but it appears he did not have any other option. As already mentioned the weapons on the field are going to be utterly ridiculous. I fully expect to see him behind Center on a few plays each game just to mix things up and keep Defenses guessing. Warriner has to be foaming at the mouth with this Offense.

Dave Berk says that he is one to watch and that he hardly mentions freshman, but believes Braxton is the real deal. Also mentions that his coach says he could be the best player to come out of Wayne, which is saying a lot. Said he was the player that stood out at Miami's 7 on 7 tournament.

My friend from Wayne has been talking about a phenom freshman since summer weight training began and this must be him. Sounds like he is someone to watch in the coming years.

Braxton Miller's move from QB to WR enhances NFL outlook

Ohio State's Braxton Miller confirmed to Sports Illustrated that the former quarterback will change positions for the 2015 season, a preemptive move that has received the approval of NFL scouts.

Listed at 6-2 and 215 pounds, Miller will line up as a versatile H-back and wide receiver, also returning punts on special teams. He will almost certainly be the focus of several gadget plays in Ohio State's playbook, further showcasing his versatility on offense.

Despite being a two-time Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year as a quarterback, most NFL evaluators view his pro football future at another position, especially considering the injuries to his throwing shoulder. And with Miller making the move prior to his final season in Columbus, scouts can base their evaluations on functional play, not simply projection.

"We currently have two grades on him, one as an "athlete" and one as a quarterback," a NFC scout said. "The grade of him as an athlete is much…better. Because that's when he's at his best – with the ball in his hands."

Awesome that he's going to be on the field from the get go.

Think about this: Could Braxton Miller be the first Buckeye to have 1000 yard passing, rushing and receiving seasons in his career? Has anyone ever done that?

Certainly wont be able to cover him with a linebacker so there's potential for some seriously huge plays and games.
