QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

You said "this was a silly debate" ... and then talked about debate nobody is having.
And yes, it has indeed been asinine.

It started off as simply pointing out that Guiton can make some throws from the pocket; to changing goal posts and now a straw-man argument that I never made.

Ignore it if you must, but it definitely looked like a silly debate to me, which you are now trying to transfer from Onebuck to me. :shake:

Braxton should come back and become a hell of a leader for his team, become the complete package by exponentially improving his game as he did from last year to this, show the world that he can be counted on by becoming consistant with his accuracy, range, and reads. He will stamp his legacy on the ohio state name for years to come, a position so very few have the chance at. I honestly believe he can become an outstanding passing and when needed running QB. The coaches will trust him more and more and the young talent around him will be more mature and more versatile to the point where he does not have to carry the whole load, but mostly be a distributor. Glory comes with risk if it is worth a damn. Only his call.

Given all the advantages the offense has in today's game over the defense, and given how passing offenses are set up to maximize efficiency, and given the advantage in personnel tOSU has over most teams it plays…the fact that our passing offense is downright non-functional at times is especially frustrating.

Not putting it all on Braxton…but he does have to share some of the blame

Agreed. All the talk of him working with the QB guru in san Diego, meant little when the season progressed. Yes, the WRs dropped a number of balls, but short-intermediate balls were pretty terrible. When our running game was out gaining our passing game at a high rate, that should be a problem. We should see much more balance, in Meyers and Herman's system. Braxton needs work from this offseason to next year, that's for sure

If it's just a stomach bug, he should be over it in a couple days and I'm sure he'll get top treatment. There's time for him to bounce back.
I suspect we could see Kenny G. get some game time if Brax's "bug" lingers. I'm OK with that.

Not a basketball fan, esp. pro, but do remember watching that game. Watched Jordan's face contort in pain periodically, and keep on playing.

That was a phenomenal performance. We should be so lucky on Friday.
