BP Jim Tressel. Finding something [censored]ed up and covering it up.

My gosh, there are a lot of fine posters here on BP. As you know, the edit situation is something has been - not a problem - but something that I have had my eye on for some time. You have to set a good example. We strive for that here. You work at it, and you try to edit in a manner that speaks well of this fine institution, and for the posters that I think we all want to be. And I was worried about the kids - those that would read the fals.....let me say "non-correct" entry by our staff on the Eddie George thing, and let me say that there is no finer representative of the Ohio State University than Mr. George.....so that a change to the correct Heisman winner was not - and I truly believe this - an attempt for myself to non-correctly answer, as it was to change for the better as we go ahead, and to learn from what some will call mistakes, but what I call an opportunity to better express the correctness that we all desire.

Thank you.

Eh, hyperbole to demonstrate that just because you're sitting on the bench at any given time, you aren't necessarily "benched." My point still stands, and you conveniently ignored my Jackson/Germaine example. Just because someone is in at your position at any given time, it doesn't mean you're "benched."

I seem to remember a few times that when Joe took the field Stan was a less than pleased. I think that SJ thought that job was his.

I definitely remember Jackson appearing not too happy to come out at times, but from game one, the Buckeyes schemed for a two QB system that could utilize both players' unique skill sets, and that's the way Coop handled the year. On any given night, one or the other might get the look late in the game, depending on how they were playing and how the defenses were reacting.

Fickell stated in his presser that Miller was banged up after the Akron game and that he missed some preparation time last week. When the game was tight it didn't fit his plan. I bet he didn't want him getting injured more going into Cryami. He said that he plans to play him this Saturday.

I've got to say that I wondered whether Fickell wasn't holding Miller out precisely because he wanted to hold something out for Miami. I must admit that it was because I couldn't understand why he wasn't putting him in.
