QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

Well, since it is virtually impossible for the Steelers to get higher than the 4th seed (Unless San Diego somehow loses to Oakland), I hope to see some good things happen for Troy. Efficient day passing the ball (Something like 16-26), for some good yards (200), and for some touchdowns (2). No turnovers.

Playing well against the Steelers will cement you in the starting job.

T. Smith: Bring on 3-4
Rookie feels prepared for Steelers' defensive scheme
By Edward Lee | Sun reporter
December 27, 2007

Troy Smith isn't too worried.

The former Heisman Trophy winner and rookie quarterback will lead the Ravens' offense against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, and one of his tasks will be solving Pittsburgh's top-ranked 3-4 defense.

"I think through the course of the week when you go about learning what exactly a 3-4 is, and the different problems that it can bring, you learn how to counteract that, and that's what the staff does," Smith said. "They come up with incredible game plans. And I kind of have an easy job, and that is to go out and execute."

Well I saw that Charlie Batch was to start instead of BR, so maybe with this and with Pitt in playoff mode, Troy will be able to settle in a little before the Ravens pathetic defense puts him in such a hole that Pitt knows he's throwing.

Good luck Troy, go get your first NFL win

We all remember that day...

...and who could forget it? I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of more photos of Troy when he came out in this stance...
Hours of searching turned up nothing . I'm sure this thread could be used for any additional photos of the man himself if anyone decides to post up. Thanks!!!

Congrats on the first NFL win Troy. I really liked what i saw out of him in the second half as his throws were much more precise and on time. I think he made a great adjustment from his first start to his second. Hopefully he will be #1 QB coming into next year.
