What really bothers me is... Who the hell are these supposed "Buckeye fan" boosters out there who are behaving like this? Where the fuck do they get off destroying the reputation of the school and the viability of the football program? I wish I could pistol-whip these low-life cocksuckers.

I hear you. Some people just need to get their "coolness" by hanging out with/paying players. Hell the "booster might even just be a runner for an agent.

Ok guys I know this might sound stupid, and believe me its not like I want this to happen but.....

When do we start looking at what Tressel is doing here? No one has mentioned this at all, and since he has taken over there has been alot of problems with our university. Now weather he knows about this or not he's NOT sending a message and he needs to do so very soon. I love that he brings us winning seasons and National Championships, but what in the hell is he doing with this program? I'm sick and tired of seeing negative things like this to put our great program down. Now even though none of us like cooper or his ability to have our kids graduate, we still had NO problems in keeping kids out of trouble with the NCAA and the law. Now this is just my opinion and yeah I'll probably get hammered for this, but I've taken off my buckeye homer glasses and tried to see this from the others point of view, and maybe it wouldn't a bad Idea to see what Tressel is doing? If its boosters giving money I believe fully that Tressel could atleast keep them away from the program, but instead it seems fairly easy to get to these people.

As for Troy, I love his style of play and he is probably my second favorite buckeye behind Mike D'Andrea. However, throw him off the team. Make an example and a stand for this program to let it known that this is not exceptable. Zwick, although he probably isn't as talented than Troy will do just fine with a better running game and a better line next year. Also Boeckman I heard is doing great.

I share your frustration, but the players know the rules. They should also know that the way they make the real money is to keep their nose's clean in college and get drafted.

I would imagine that the compliance process is that the coaches and the rest of the athletic department talk until they are blue in the face about this stuff, then it is up to the players to actually believe it and keep their noses clean.

My point is that this is Troy Smith's fault.

a few points:

lets just say that nobody in the media that i have spoken with is shocked, nor surprised that this could happen...

there were a number of members of this board (grad21, and 27... care to step forward here and others) that i privately told them about character problems with smith as early as august...

it goes deeper, but for now, i will remain calm....

I keep hearing that he accepted furniture from Value City after the Michigan game. Is this for real? I have never heard of anything so ironic, frustrating and comical all at once.
