Not that preseason numbers mean much, but I still enjoyed their QBs sucking today. Still wish Cardinals would pick Troy up. Wells needs a passing game there to help him out.

Alex Smith has taken advantage of every opportunity to show that he absolutely sucks. He must be a hell of a practice player because, honestly, how else can you justify this guy being an NFL starting quarterback?

SF is on their 3rd head coach and 3rd GM since Smith was drafted, and his #1 rookie contract (which had already been restructured down) is past, so at this point he's just another middling veteran on a 1-year contract. He does seem to be Harbaugh's best chance for next year's #1 though, so maybe that's the best longterm play for them.
