Thedecline, your sig makes me want to cry in a corner. Seeing my all-time favorite Buckeye in a Baltimore Ravens uniform just rips out my heart. I wonder if Troy throws up just a little every time he has to put on that uniform.

You ain't kidding. But I still love watching him play.

Woodson is a pocket QB, whereas Troy likes to get out of the pocket and make plays. I don't think they are very similar in style at all.

I was just asking cause I don't really see the comparison. I think Woodson isn't very mobile, is taller and more slender, and sometimes he has a tendency to float the ball in situations where he should be putting a little more zip on it. He also showed a tendency to get rattled under pressure later in the season. I know UK fell off the map a little after the LSU game but the other games I watched this year (USC, Tenn) Woodson made bad decisions/throws at critical junctures of the game that really hurt his team's chances, not something you really saw Troy do.

ummm...of course their styles are different that's why I said looks not plays like Troy and the examples I gave should have cleared that up. (throwing motion) (facemask) lol he's a wannabe Troy that meant he still has short comings.

However I wouldn't exactly say 6'4'' 230lbs is slender either, since we're piling on my comment.

It is when comparing him to a 6'0" 220 lbs player. :wink2:

No not really, at tOSU Troy was listed 6'1" 215 lbs now the Ravens have him 6'0" 225 lbs by that logic hes 15 lbs heavier and 4" taller sounds pretty slender to me!

6'4" 230 is still a decent sized QB. slender? :wink2:

Brady Quinn is listed as 6'3" 235 lbs does 1" and 5 lbs really make him slender oops I mentioned ntre lame my bad:ohwell:

I think the Ravens would be stupid NOT to draft a QB somewhat early next year. McNair is done and Boller is Boller, so even if Troy ends up being a great NFL QB (which is still a big question mark, regardless of how confident we are), they have no back-up plan.

Where the Ravens err is in not realizing that Boller is Boller and trying to see if Troy is the man. Starting Troy (and Troy succeeding) won't make a difference in whether they draft a QB but will make a difference in where they draft one (1st rd vs. 3rd rd).

While we are very confident in Troy, and with good reason, the NFL is a different game (see: Carpenter, Bobby). While not giving Troy more playing time seems dumb-I don't see what is automatically outrageous about drafting a QB-because you annoint 5th round rookie QB as the new franchise QB after playing one series in the NFL.
