QB Taylor Graham (transfer to Hawaii)

I think this kid is a really good QB and a really good kid... I hope all the best for him...

He finds a passing team with a good line, he's gonna light it up... Wonder if he likes Hawaii and the WAC

Maybe Wisconsin will go after him as their next free agent...

On a serious note, Taylor seemed like a genuinely nice kid, and he could defiantly wing it. Reminds me a little bit of Todd while he was here. Great pro-style arm that was accurate with good velocity. However, judging by the spring game, he needs to improve his pocket awareness and not take as many sacks. In Meyer's offense, you pretty much need to have quick feet, and I'm not sure Taylor has that, at least right now. I think it is best for both the team, and Taylor, that he finds a more suitable offense to work in that correlates with his skills.

If nothing else, his transfer frees up another scholarship that can be used in this recruiting class, or for the future.

Best of luck Taylor!

You really hate to see "good kids" (like Taylor) leave the program; however, it's all about opportunities. Taylor wants a opportunity to play (i.e. start) which won't likely happen at Ohio State being behind Braxton Miller. And with his scholarship, Ohio State (i.e. Urban Meyer) gets an opportunity to sign another 5 star recruit. I guess it's a win-win situation.

As many have stated, sad to see Taylor go, but it is not a surprise at all. With Braxton firmly entrenched at the starting QB position and Taylor not necessarily the best fit for Urban/Herman's offense, this move is probably best for Taylor. I think Taylor has the potential to be a starter at a major program somewhere. From what I have read and observed, smart kid with a strong arm. Best of luck to him. I hope to hear great news about him in the coming years.

Meanwhile, OSU redshirt-freshman quarterback Taylor Graham gained his official release from the Buckeyes yesterday so he can transfer, his father, former OSU quarterback Kent Graham, told The Dispatch last night. Taylor Graham has his eye on several programs which run pro style offenses, one of which might be Kansas, which on Friday announced that former Notre Dame head coach and current Florida offensive coordinator Charlie Weis will be its new head coach.
