Np. Tate replied. Posted the response in Okudahs threadThank you, sir.
I've been watching this series and it's quite interesting watching Tate. A kid that some will think is a cocky douche, but if he was on their team they'd love to have him. I think he's very confident in his abilities, and knows that he has talent. And also plays with a chip on his shoulder, due to not having the "ideal" QB size. I think his talent fits perfectly with this OSU offense, and regardless who wins the back up QB spot this year, Tate should in no way be ruled out from starting next year. The good is very very good, not only with his arm but can make great plays with his legs. And in college(and especially this offense) the dual threat QB is a very powerful weapon. Just watching his highlights, imagine OSU caliber WRs and having the blocking of an OSU caliber OL, and I could see nothing but big things from him(no knock on Burrow or Haskins).VERIZON RELEASES NEW DOCUSERIES FEATURING TATE MARTELL
All three episodes episode of can be viewed at Verizon's streaming site, go90. It doesn't require a Verizon subscription, either.
In the series, you can see Martell preparing for school (Only 131 days until arriving at Ohio State!) all the way to the first practice of the year. It's an interesting look at the life of a teenager already under the bright lights and expectations of big-time college athletics.

Tate, is in a tough situation at OSU with so much talent in the qb room, and a stud coming into the room in 2017 as well. I see a lot of youthful immaturity from him on the show due to being in HS that up to this point I haven't heard at all from him at OSU. I think he may have grown up and is in grind mode, knowing he needs to bid his time in a step up in competitionDefinitely a show worth watching. Tate's career is going to be really interesting. Probably either going to be an absolute star or transfer. Probably going to be one of those players where there is a lot of stories about him after he's gone. I'm not betting against him, though.
Couple other things about the show: that L Jake Fromm took from his little brother on camera at ping pong had to be absolutely devastating. His brother will never let him forget that, nor should he.
Bowers doesn't look like a great QB, but he does seem like a really good kid.
He's gotta be about 5'9" ...right?
