Not only crazy competitive but also, a stellar leader, and relishing his role as almost a face of this class. He's definitely an alpha, and the QB room for the next few years is going to be very interesting with the level of competition between Burrow, Haskins, Martell, Clark and Jones.

Things have slowed down a lot when it comes to recruiting and that’s the way I want it. I don’t talk to any other coaches except (Ohio State head coach) Urban Meyer and (Buckeyes quarterbacks coach) Tim Beck. Ohio State has been my dream school and there is nowhere else in the country I’d rather be committed to.

They’ve been my favorite team since I was a baby because my grandpa went there and it’s a dream come true to be a part of the program’s future. I’m taking my official visit for the Northwestern game (Oct. 29) and I can’t wait to be back on campus again. It’s already feeling like home and we’ve got a great group of guys committed that I’m excited to line up with and continue getting to know.

This Cedar Hill Texas team is pretty dirty. Every time they get a hit on Tate, they make sure to get a couple more after the whistle. They've done it on several other plays but it's really obvious (except to the refs) on Tate.
