This one's kind of hard for me to sugarcoat. I remember watching Rob throw with his receivers whenever he could get some free time after his junior season of high school, busting his ass to try and make sure his senior season wasn't a repeat of his junior one (where he lost his starting QB job for a game and was moved to TE). He was incredibly motivated to improve during that offseason, and was much better for it, as was evidenced by his strong performance at the Elite 11 camp that summer. I was holding out hope he'd see this offseason as a similar challenge and shock everyone next season. I guess it wasn't meant to be and I can understand the depth chart (especially with Pryor likely in the mix) isn't exactly a reason for optimism, so all that's left is to wish Rob the best of luck in future endeavors.

I sure hope Delaware makes an exception and lets him wear his OSU uniform on game days, their uniforms are hideous!!!!! how you go from wearing Scarlet and Gray to that, with the helmets to boot, is just beyond me.


Seriously though, best of luck to him!
