The season Stroud is having answers whatever questions there might be/have been. He’s the guy and, if he can pass McCord, Quinn might be the next guy. CJ has shown what legit preparation during a redshirt and/or mental rep year can do in this system. Better not to be here at all instead of trying to rush in and muscle through it learning on the fly. Day doesn’t play that. The kids we are getting (and will continue to get; Quinn won’t be the last) are elite talent AND want to be developed. At the moment, I think it’s more likely that McCord will bounce than Quinn and, as said above, if Quinn showed up, gave it three months, and is ready to go, he probably should, but that’s not the case, I don’t believe.

To that point, I also think they know it probably doesn't matter. Kyle is either going to beat out Quinn after Stroud leaves, or transfer. If Kyle beats out Quinn, he'll get drafted before the redshirt year would even come into play imo.
