QB Prentiss "Air" Noland (transfer to South Carolina)

“Everything you need as a quarterback, as a student-athlete is all here at Ohio State. They have the right people around the student-athletes here, especially the football players and especially the quarterbacks. Everything you can ask for is at Ohio State especially from a quarterback standpoint.”

The Buckeyes are battling the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Miami, Arkansas, Oregon and Texas A&M for the 6-foot-3, 195-pound Noland who will commit on the evening of April 8.

“I would say the platform they have laid out for quarterbacks and athletes here,” Noland continued. “Come in and focus on you and everything will take care of itself. Be the best version of yourself. I don’t think any distractions there. You have a good year or two, you’re off to the league. That’s what standouts out.”

Noland has had two meetings with Ryan Day, spent the majority of his time with quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis and also met with offensive coordinator Brian Hartlinewhen he arrived.

“Of course I talked to Jelani (Thurman) a ton,” Noland said of his high school teammate. “Carnell (Tate), Brandon (Inniss), Kyle (McCord), met all the quarterbacks.

“Got to meet almost every coach on the staff. It’s been great.”
From Wiltfong last night. Btw, Noland is no longer visiting Oregon…

Should we be warming up the 'naners?
Let’s say you’re in the market to buy a house. Your realtor schedules 5 showings. You see 3 of them but all your wife keeps talking about is the one that you will be seeing 4th. Everything that she has heard about it, pictures she has seen, the school zones, location, everything! You finally get there. Then your wife looks at you and says, “cancel the 5th house, I know where I want to live.” Would you have to wonder which one she liked best?

I think Nolan will be in very soon. As in, the 8th

Well I can't do any better than that for an analogy. Air is a great player and I think we'll not be so worried about Raiola once he commits..

Air Noland brings qualities to the QB position that we see in some of the greats. Besides being a great talent he is a student of the game (as well as life), he is an SNL (strong natural leader), has a gripping personality, is competitive and wants to be the best. Looking forward to him airing it out for the good guys!
