We need this kid to be given some reps in the bowl practices and a legitimate chance this spring and summer. We know what we have with McCord and I think I've seen enough from Brown, as well. They should all get a shot, but at this point I'd think you'd have to lean toward a talented and more athletic younger player who's had a year in the system. McCord's not going to get dramatically better and Brown's not as athletic as Lincoln. Fucking let it rip, now. We're at three consecutive losses, we need a boss behind center.

It's interesting to me that Day isn't drooling over having a guy that can run boots, rpos, and just a competent sneak on 4th and 1. It just opens up a whole nother section of the playbook to choose from.

I really believe Day wanted Brwon to be the guy but he was just to inaccurate/inconsistent of a thrower.

Treat the bowl game as a scrimmage and see if Lincoln can game in front of 80,000.

60,000 if lucky.

Well... still need to see. I truly believe McCord is pretty good in practice, but under the lights it's takes him a half to get his butterflies out. Maybe give him a bong hit or xanex and he's the second coming of Stroud.

Some dudes just have trouble with pressure.... but McCord seemed at his best in hurry up with no time to think.
Agree.
