I think you're confusing whining about the Cotton Bowl with just talking about the Cotton Bowl......which is hard to not sound negative since it was that much of a dumpster fire.

“His offense is super unique. I think it fits me very well with what I do too,” Kienholz said. “He has an answer to everything and that’s what I like.”
i know this one. i saw it before. what did that guy do............oh i remember. run it up the middle? What if the question is "playing against a good run defense with a bad secondary"?
He may leave after Spring if St Clair shows out. They love Lincoln in the WHAC but his learning curve was much more drastic than they thought….still think he has the most physical tools in OSU QB room but he’s trying to soak up knowledge from a place of deficit compared to Sayin and St. Clair who have live, breathed, and worked the QB craft year round for years now.
Kienholz was a true “3 sport” athlete that dedicated his time and effort to the sports he was playing in, which is quite rare for an elite QB prospect these days. Most kids go from regular season to 7 on 7 or at a minimum hone their craft with a hired QB coach.
I hope Lincoln sticks around and continues to develop. If the game slows down a little and he learns the intricacies of how to play QB at a school like OSU I still think he can be special. And I’m not sure jumping ship with 3 years of eligibility left after this season, makes the most sense….think even he understands another year developing at OSU, even if backing up Sayin, could mean a starting spot if an injury, but at worst an extra year in QB room with Day. Will be interesting to see how it plays out once OSU season ends…..
