Why is it ok to pass instant judgment if it's negative but only appropriate to "wait and see" if it's a positive?

This fanbase fucking sucks.

For me, it's the recent past. I used to "wait and see" and since the season started I didn't jump down anyones throat after week 1 or 2 - it's a large fanbase with lots of opinions - who cares? They used to boo Troy Smith so consider the source.

I never criticized the players and coaches in the 60 70 80. With the advent of talk radio and sport center and pregame shows the atmosphere changed. Suddenly everyone had a voice and opinions over facts took over..a similar thing happened in news and politics too. Just scroll past the criticism. You know by now how posters feel..if Jax or me or others upset you scroll by and save your sanity.

Came in there scared as shit -I don't blame him. Started super shaky but he efforted the entire time. Had a huge play taken away. Stood in the pocket at the end, got blasted a few times, then found his boy in the third best clutch throw I've ever seen a Buckeye QB make.

I really loved how Devin came flying over to celebrate with him. That's how things get done man. Nobody is going to question McCord's heart for sure.

No matter what happens the rest of McCord's career, his name is now cemented in the history of the program. Buckeye nation will never, ever forget this game. And he showed some absolutely massive cajones on that last drive. Props to you, QB1.
