I don't know, he's done the woe is me exasperated thing publicly a few times...it clearly irks him to some degree. What I am sure about is that this is definitely not a time when fighting another Herbstreit go-round is at all worth it.

I would hope that Herbie refrains from discussing this latest mess in too much detail. He knows Tressel and the type of man he is... Much like how former players still speak so highly of Woody, I'd hope that former players and fans everywhere would try and focus on the person that JT has always been, not the human mistake he's made.

I don't think he said that, but rather just said that JT isn't the human mistake he made. JT is much more than that....he's all the great things he's done and, obviously, all the mistakes he's made as well.

It doesn't excuse the big mistake, but it also doesn't ignore the big positives either.

I'm just saying that people who really know JT know that he's a good man. He made a mistake no doubt. But you have to look at the whole picture here.

That is all.

yah i saw him at subway one day here in upper arlington one day a few years ago...that was back when i liked him...but ya i didnt say anything to him either

I don't think many people expect him to be a cheerleader for Ohio State. I think they expect him to be fair. Ranking Ohio State 9th after the season is borderline "bashing" or whatever you want to call it.

But we've already been over this plenty of times.
