They have too much class for that? No one is going to engage ESPN's favorite boy toy in a war of words any more than he should have done so with TP. That's how I see it anyway.

Silence could be construed as a number of things such as apathy, irrelevance, etc. For me, I believe that the vast majority consider Kenny's words as irrelevant. The program speaks for itself.

C'mon. Do you really think that Spielman is going to call out his network's golden boy he's not dumb and knows that, if he did, he could kiss his espn gig goodbye. It?s not fair to expect that out of CS, as least as long as he's pulling down a paycheck from that network.

Just what is it that makes you think that Chris or JT or Archie are not just as strong in their outlook towards the Bucks as you?
What makes you think that those guys are just incapable of calling out Kirk if they thought he is wrong?

They are professionals. Spielman is not goin to call out his network's golden boy. It's unprofessional to get into a pissing match with another network memeber. Surely you can see that. JT and Archie are also not going to get into a pissing match with a network mannequin. That's for fans and message board posters to do...in public anyway. By the way, Herbie has essentially been ostracized from the tOSU family, so it's not just us. He is not a popular person behind the walls of the WHAC. That's probably (read: likely) the reason for his behavior towards tOSU.

He can do his job. That's fine. Have an opinion. His over the top actions (read: naming names of innocent players in the tattoo garbage and ranking tOSU lower than any 12-1 team has ever been ranked, saying he wouldn't send an offensive player to play for JT) are a clear indication of some deep seeded resentment towards his alma mater. Do you see Desmond Howard being so outspoken vs. scUM with all their problems? Jesse Palmer against UF? I don't get how you can turn a blind eye towards all this crap. Just because he once wore a tOSU uniform? That does not make one infallible in most people's book. I don't care how much you hop on Eddie George's shoulders during a game.

No I do not have a link because, again, this kind of stuff is not handled publicly. I have heard this from several very trustworthy insiders. I'm sure there are others on here that could back this up. Why do you think he's never seen at tOSU events? Do you ever hear of him talking to Archie or JT? Doesn't it seem a little strange that somebody with such a high public profile is never connected to his alma mater? If he was on good terms, wouldn't it make sense that he would be involved in some way with the program? All he does is some piddly afternoon show on 97.1...

Actually, it's a compliment. They're professional enough to not air their dirty laundry in public. They know it would look bad on them and the university. But if you think that Jim Tressel and Archie Griffin would not be upset by a national "reporter" naming innocent parties during a major broadcast, I don't know what to say to you.

Yes I do think they would speak out if it were necessary becuase that would be professional even if they don't get in a pissing match.
