Herbie has tOSU beating Oklahoma for the national championship. Just watched the College Gameday Preview show. Desmond has Wisconsin winning the b10 and Corso has Iowa.

Herbie feels this can be the best Buckeye defense Tressel has had, and that JT will open the playbook for TP

It seems like it's finally "safe" for Herbie to be an Ohio State fan this year, since ESPN has picked them to go to Prom.

I didn't watch, but did Herbie or Desmond mention the Ohio State-Michigan game?

I highly doubt it since it was a season preview and there wasn't enough time to budget. Just checking?

Pointless really. Both of those guys are for the game to stay (both are even for same division).

that would be a hell of an accomplishment given what Tress had in 2002 and 2005.

I don't think it's that much of a stretch. I think of all the years, this defensive line is the best and the most deep. Heyward is the best defensive lineman in the Tressel era. I am well aware of the great ones he's coached, so that is saying a lot.

I think what he means is to be the guy who does all the big games. The voice behind all the meaningful games in college football. Like it or not, when Vitale does a game, it's a big game normally.
