Got my BSCS from Hawaii Pacific University and I'm about as fake a Hawaiian as can be. Just because you attended an institution doesn't make you a representative of said institution. So keep on yuckin'...

Actually, "Jake" didn't say that at all. But if you're sitting on your couch, having never so much as attended Ohio State, telling the world which alums are "fake" Buckeyes, then I am laughing at you. What's that? You root for the football team? Congratulations, so do thousands of children across the midwest.

But please, do preach on about the "satanic soulless" football train, your awesome beard, or the greatness of Syracuse basketball. I'm all ears. Just don't tell me who is a "fake" Buckeye, because you haven't got a clue about it.

What if we dislike him because:

He slandered Michael Brewster on national TV and never apologized? (With about a thousand apologies to McGloin during the same stretch for calling him a handoff QB?)

He has the emotional stability of a toddler up past their bedtime?

He routinely engages in petty spats with teenagers and cannot be the adult or the media professional ?

...the latest one was with an OSU recruit and he not only made the situation a lot worse (and a national story), but he blatantly lied about what the kid said?

He threw the osu fanbase under the bus to cover the actual reason he moved to Tennessee?

He offers up next to nothing in terms of substance during broadcasts ? The Kardashian reference is perfect.

Is that allowed, Jake? :roll1:

I don't call him that, but it stuck because it embodies exactly how he conducts himself. Rather than separating himself from immature children, he outpaces them.

I spent most of my childhood in PSU territory. I later moved to ND country (which was heavily MSU/UM also). Maybe I should have rooted for those abominations?

Also my first in-person experience was Kenyon Rambo dropping a wide open bomb in Spartan Stadium. I was raised by a Spartan dad who went to grad school there. Maybe that would be an approved fandom by blood? I mean it would've been easy to switch, my first OSU game was 99 with Rambo dropping a wide open bomb.
