QB Kirk Herbstreit (Frosted Quips)

Watched the games with Texas alumni who had never really paid attention to his color commentary. I tipped them off that all he does is speak in horrible cliches while restating the obvious and that you will not hear a single piece of insightful commentary. By the third quarter, they were pissing themselves laughing at every simplistic, chimp-like observation that he was making.

I have visited more than 50 countries and every US state. I've seen a lot of the world.

There is only one Ohio, only one place to smell the Southern Ohio air at harvest time. The crisp air of a February morning or to hear the artificial silence when heavy wet snow falls. God willing, I will bury my bones in Africa, but I will never forget the love that I have for the state of Ohio or the gratitude for what The Ohio State University did to change my life.

Edited. bit too personal

Yeah, I live in Hawaii because overall the weather is far better, but that doesn't mean I don't miss a lot of what Ohio has to offer weather-wise (cool, colorful autumns, and nice snowy days around Thanksgiving and Christmas). You can cherry-pick certain vistas of any place on earth and make it seem fantastic (e.g., the view of the mountains near the Rose Bowl at sunset), but those very same places will have [Mark May]ty portions also. But thanks for failing to comprehend what I typed...
Dude just own it, kirks comment was fine. Most of us have thought that we'd rather be in Pasadena. It's ok. I loved Ohio too, but I understand here are other preferable places.

Preferable? Yes. But Herpstreet made it sound like Ohio was all doom and gloom and that he couldn't wait to get the fuck out...out of line.
