QB Kirk Herbstreit (Frosted Quips)

I think 'tips is well on his way to Mark May status, but the quote appears to be

Kirk Herbstreit: I have NEVER said 'The' Ohio State, and I never will. It is pompous and stupid.

That's rich, considering being pompous and stupid pretty much sums up Herbie's "career" for the past 5-10 years. I mean, we're talking about a guy who gets in silly, childish Twitter wars on what seems to be a weekly basis. To say nothing of his public war of words with a college kid who just so happened to be the starting QB at the university that he claims to love.

Yeah, I've never seen anyone act like more of a 12 year old and then blame "immature" people for his actions (like moving out of Columbus) before. Hey douche-curtain, most of us learned that outing people on TV for crimes and violations they didn't commit to make yourself look like an insider at a place no one likes you anymore is pompous and stupid.

I was at the Blue Jackets game last night, and they put Herbie up on the jumbotron (evidently, he was at the game somewhere). He received mostly applause, but a good deal of boos too. I wonder if he changed into a Penguins jersey late in the third period when the Jackets blew the lead.

Hockey Ken was just there to cruise chicks
