QB Kirk Herbstreit (Frosted Quips)

I question why you think the timeline is so deficient in quickness that you conclude that nothing will come of it. The wheels of justice grind slowly, your honor.

A character in New Orleans once famously said " I have a lawyer acquaintance who will study them out ...".

Herbstreit today on ESPN's 'Prescription for Change' series.

This is word for word.

"I don't like coaches voting on a poll when they don't watch games. They're very busy preparing their teams, and they know their conference inside and out. They have no idea what's going on, if they play in the Big XII, what's going on in the Big East or the ACC."

I guess he's saying that people that are too busy shouldn't vote in polls.

It appears his hypocracy knows no bounds. In these little articles or radio interviews, Malibu Ken always seems to be in control of his own narrative. Just once I would like to see him have to answer tough questions from a relentless interviewer.

Out of curiosity, I've been hearing commercials for his radio show coming up, I think it's on Monday's once the season starts. Is that a national show, or just local? I'm just curious why he would even do a show around here anymore since there's so much disdain for him. Seems like it would get horrible ratings.

People love to listen to radio sport talk shows that piss them off. It's the same here in Pittsburgh. Everyone you talk to hates Mark Madden, but he has the highest ratings in the city by far.

Mark Madden as in the douchebag from WCW back in the 90's Mark Madden? Good lord, people will literally listen to anything if that guy has his own radio show.

LOL Great stuff. I give Buckeye fans credit who can still stomach ESPN. I haven't watched it since the end of Spring quarter at Woody's Tavern at the Union.

I haven't watched anything on ESPiN for a long time.

I have no interest in anything that Kirk Herbstreit has to say period. His false protests of unbiased reporting do not hide his self-inflated egoistic behavior, which I interpret as an attempt to inflict considerable harm on Ohio State football because he didn't get what he wanted.

My opinion is that he has thrown a tantrum for most of this decade because he wasn't given the keys to Ohio State football and recognition as a former star player and football guru. Well, with all due respect for his modest accomplishments, I believe he has incredibly unrealistic expectations.

Now that Tressel is gone, I'm sure that Herbstreit would like to test the waters to see if the keys to his dream (or perhaps his entitlement in his view) might be available.

I hope that people in Columbus will find better places on their dials.
