Both Miler and Guiton have very similar QBs. I don't think you are going to get an offense off balance when you have Miller in QB and then shift the formation to Guiton as QB. I don't think having one in the slot catching the ball will add to the offense. We have more talented receivers to do that. Having one as a running back takes touches away from more talented backs like Hall or Hyde. How about both on the field at the same time..... Interesting..
How about this question:
If Kenny Guiton had started this season at QB instead of Braxton Miller, would we be now talking about him for Heisman consideration?
561 total yards and 52 points in three quarters, in a road game 2,100 miles from home no less, is pretty damn impressive against any defense. Miller still is the clear starter, but the gap between he and Guiton is not nearly as big as we all thought. He has two great games against two terrible defenses.
Braxton has won 14 in a row as a starter, proven himself in plenty of big games against tough defenses, and should be behind center every snap when healthy.
No need to get cute, when Braxton is back healthy, then Kenny should go back to being the backup and only come in if Braxton can't go. This TEAM is too good to get cute with the QBs. One has to be a starter and one has to be a backup. Ohio State backups should all be outstanding players.

#B1G Players of the Week: K. Guiton (Off); R. Shazier (Def.); J. DuVernois (ST); C. Hackenberg (Frosh).
I hate to say this, but despite Johnny being a flaming asshole, I'd have to give the Heisman nod to Manziel. His performance against Alabama proved just what a talent he is.How about this question:

2014 NFL Draft: Week 3 Stock Report

With Braxton Miller sidelined due to a knee sprain, Ohio State senior quarterback Kenny Guiton received his first career start on Saturday against Cal. And on the road against a young, talented opponent, he looked like a seasoned veteran who had been waiting for this chance for a long time.
Guiton finished 21 for 32 (65.6 percent) for 276 yards and four touchdowns, adding 14 rushes for 92 yards on the ground (6.6 yards per carry). He showed touch on downfield passes and was accurate throwing on the move with the arm strength to sling the ball all over the yard. California Memorial Stadium isn't the most menacing place for visitors and it wasn't a flawless performance, but Guiton wasn't intimidated on the road and gave a gutsy performance in his first collegiate start.
Is he a draftable NFL prospect? The sample size is much too small to accurately answer that question right now, but his play on the field has at the very least prompted the question to be asked. Next-level evaluators love raw, talented players who show the physical ability and mental makeup that can be developed, especially at the quarterback position. Last year the San Francisco 49ers drafted former South Florida quarterback B.J. Daniels in the seventh round after a lackluster college career, but the Niners saw a worthwhile project. And it wouldn't be surprising if an NFL team thought the same about Guiton next May.
