too bad they're all going to such a crappy teamMililaniBuckeye;826254; said:Wow. Another Buckeye to the Colts...
HineyBuck;826274; said:I love the Colts bringing on all these Buckeyes. But for Justin, this is an ideal situation. First, he can take over for Stocco as the "Maytag Repairman." His skills exceed Stocco's, scarlet & gray glasses notwithstanding. Second, he can learn from the best in the business. We may not hear much about Justin in the next few years (as we have'nt the last few years), but I predict he will have a successful career, at least as a journeyman back-up, but possibly much more. I think his skills are comparable to Brady Quinn's.
Zwick did not sign a free-agent contract. The Massillon graduate will attend a rookie minicamp this weekend with the Indianapolis Colts. He hopes to impress enough to get a free-agent contract.
Zwick will have familiar faces around him. The Colts drafted Anthony Gonzalez, Roy Hall and Quinn Pitcock and then signed cornerback Antonio Smith.
"It's going to be like going to practice here with all those guys," Zwick said. "I was talking with some teams during the draft and I don't know what happened. After the draft, it quieted down.
"It would be ideal to catch on with Indianapolis and learn from Peyton Manning. It would be great to stick around and learn."
