tsteele - once you've been around a while, we'll have a chance to get to know you (and you us) and we'll be able to tell when you're "busting (someone's) stones a bit". Until then, as this is nothing but words on a screen, it's tough to tell. And, any post that looks like it is defending Tibor will probably be attacked. But that's Tibor's fault, not yours.

I suggest a round of paintchips to make everyone happy again.

REFUTED: Zwick Transfer???

OK, my tongue is in my cheek on this one - but somebody needed to start this thread.

When the same question was asked about Smith several weeks back I responded - with my infinite and unfailing wisdom - that he was just one injury away from running the offense of one of the premier program in the country.

Now that Smith has come into his own (that was a great performance on every level and accomplished without a viable running game other than the one he provided) Zwick is in a much worse position than Smith ever was.

Zwick does not have Smith's speed, his arm strength, and - from many accounts - the support of his teammates. Next year Boeckman will become a very real option as well.

So no, I don't really see Justing moving on and I am not trying to start a rumor. Just a comment on the fickel foturnes of college athletics.

He reminds me of Orton's beginning. I can't see him transferring, but you really never know. Hopefully he'll be successful, but Troy Smith has really solidified his role as the starting QB. Zwick's situation is worse than Smith's was, but just like Smith, he is one injury away from starting. It really is hard to say what will become of the surprising depth at QB.

TS does do alot of running. That opens up the chances for an injury.

However, JZ is proably so down in the crapper, that who knows if he would respond if given the chance. The kid came in as the greatest thing ever, and now he "seems" to be a career backup.

I think that Troy Smith showed his metal yesterday. He was as solid as any OSU QB I have ever seen in the Mich/OSU game. He literally beat Michigan. Glenville H.S won two games yesterday and one was in columbus.

I will say this about Zwick. I think the kid has alot of potential. His career is not over yet. With Troy Smiths style of play he may get injured and we might need Zwick to step up.

Gents you need more than 1 QB. IMO don't give up on Justin. Hes a fucking buckeye!!!!!! For me thats enough to earn my respect. I hope Justing doesn't transfer.

Hopefully the teams starts to heal after a season of disappointments and turmoil.

You guys are acting like TS has dominated for the whole season. It was one game, lets see if he can continue playing like that to grant him a saint.

But lets also give some credit to other whom deserve it. Our O-line had their best game of the season, bar none. TS had time in the pocket, and by the time the pocket was collapsing the WR had taken their routes so deep that there was tons of running room for TS. Ginn has come a long way from the Ginn of the first 5 games where he would quit on routes, make sloppy cuts, not understand the plays, etc. TS played great, but part of that was due to other players making great plays around him too. I truly don't remember many great plays the first half of the season (read Zwick) besides Holmes. Once he was getting doubled nobody else stepped up. Only recently has Ginn risen as one of the best WR in the nation.

TS had a great game, but he has only beaten one team with a winning record, he hasn't exactly been tearing it up till yesterday.
