3 for 4. Rushing TD tonight. I hope you are wrong. Loved him as a Buckeye. This is going to be the end of his career.
I hope I am wrong too but I have seen this Jets story too many times.3 for 4. Rushing TD tonight. I hope you are wrong. Loved him as a Buckeye.

I found this article interesting. It doesn't mention Fields, but I suspect that he would score poorly on Payton's evaluation criteria: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45869555/how-bo-nix-aced-sean-payton-qb-testFields has wheels and he's a better QB for having them - great athlete. It's difficult to argue with the results of a TD.
Despite all that athletic ability, I really want to see JF take that next step as a passer. For the longevity and effectiveness of his career, he absolutely must.
When you get your best weapon (Garrett) in motion and draw a push/match from a safety and you don't exploit it... fans can cheer within the vaccuum of that moment, but quality DCs will see your lapse(s) and exploit it later.

I thought he looked damn good and was making good decisions. He took a cheap shot from Watt on a fake that wasn’t called.Watched bits and pieces yesterday but dude looked on time for the first time I have ever seen him. If he can do that and decipher where to go look out. Cause his ability to throw the football or his physical traits were never the issue
He almost looked like his Buckeyes days yesterday
